Terms of Payment & Refund Policy

Payment Terms
Unless otherwise stated in writing, at the time of confirmation only a deposit will be due. The full balance payment is required at the time of rental and charged by the local rental agency directly. Autorent accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. The payment would be charged in AED. 

Credit Card Policy
A major credit card is required at the time of rental as a guarantee of payment of any customer’s liabilities and will be debited in the event of such damage. CDW is subject to an excess unless extra insurance is taken. A deposit equaling this amount will be required at the time of rental and will be refunded if car is returned undamaged. Please note a Debit Card cannot be used for a security deposit. 

Note: It is essential to have a credit card in your own name to be able to rent your car.

We accept all major Credit Cards or Corporate LPO as Terms of payment (Corporate LPO are applicable for companies who fulfill Autorent Credit Terms and Conditions) Please go through our Corporate Accounts Page to know more about corporate Accounts

All cancellations must be received in writing by any means by Autorent with the Autorent Prepayment Confirmation attached and will take effect on the date and time received by Autorent. For reservations made through Autorent reservation web site, cancellation may also be made through the Autorent reservation web site and will take effect at the date and time the cancellation is successfully recorded in Autorent reservation system. A cancellation confirmation shall be sent to the customer. The customer may cancel the reservation without charges provided it is done 48 Hours prior to the Pickup / Reservation Date as mentioned on the Autorent Prepayment Confirmation. After this period has elapsed, the prepaid rental amount shall be refunded less a cancellation fee which will be 25 % of the total Pre paid rental Voucher Value or to a max of USD 100/- if the cancellation notification received 4 hours prior to vehicle pick up. No refunds shall be given if the customer fails to collect the vehicle on the rental start date and has failed to notify Autorent in writing in advance of this date.
